As per reports, the Tribunal Supremo Electoral (TSE) has confirmed that Thursday (19 March) is the final day to apply for vehicle circulation permits ahead of subnational elections scheduled for Sunday (22 March).
• Applications for circulation permits have reportedly been open since Saturday (14 March) and will close at the end of Thursday (19 March) via the official TSE platform.
• According to reports, the circulation permit is the only valid document authorising vehicle movement on election day, with strict nationwide restrictions expected.
• Authorities have indicated that vehicles operating without a valid permit on Sunday (22 March) may be stopped at checkpoints, impounded and subject to penalties and fines.
• Exemptions reportedly apply only to security forces, emergency services, and accredited media, while all other operators must obtain prior authorisation.
