As per reports, a fatal collision between a moped and a vehicle took place at the intersection of Highway 162 and Salters Hill Road in Hollywood, South Carolina at around 1000 hours (local time) on Tuesday (19 November).

• Initial investigations indicated that both the moped and the vehicle were travelling west on Highway 162. As the moped driver attempted to make a left turn, the vehicle tried to pass, resulting in a collision. This has led to the death of the moped driver.
• This incident led to a road closure and Charleston County Traffic Services Unit is leading the investigation regarding this issue.
