As per reports, meteorological models indicate that a low-pressure system forming over southern Brazil is expected to intensify into an extratropical cyclone between Saturday (06 June) and Monday (08 June), bringing widespread rainfall, strong winds, and a significant drop in temperatures across several regions of the country.

• Reports indicate that the system is expected to initially affect Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina before advancing towards Paraná and the southeastern states, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Minas Gerais.
• Reportedly, an intense polar air mass is expected to follow the system from Monday (08 June), causing a marked decline in temperatures across southern, southeastern, and central-western Brazil.
• Reports indicate that minimum temperatures could fall below 10 degrees Celsius in parts of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, southern Minas Gerais, and southern Mato Grosso do Sul through Thursday (11 June).
• Reportedly, isolated frost formation is possible in higher-altitude areas of the Serra Gaúcha and Serra Catarinense, while the coldest conditions are expected on Wednesday (10 June) and Thursday (11 June).
• Reports suggest that cooler temperatures may extend into Mato Grosso, Goiás, the Federal District, Espírito Santo, and parts of Bahia later in the week.
