As per reports, several people reported hearing explosion-like sounds accompanied by tremors, in the Anakkallu area of Kerala on Tuesday (29 October) night.

• A total of 287 individuals from 85 families were relocated to a school building on Tuesday (29 October) night following the sounds. The first sound was heard around 2115 hours, followed by two more at 2215 and 2245 hours, each accompanied by mild tremors.
• Cracks were also found to have developed in some houses in the area.
• By Wednesday (30 October) morning, villagers began returning to their homes as the situation reportedly had stabilized.
• Further details on the incident is yet to be released by the concerned authorities.
