Elevated air pollution levels reported in Tehran as of Tuesday (07 October)

As per reports, the Tehran Air Quality Control Company has reported that the city’s current air quality index (AQI) stands at 110, placing it in the orange category, indicating moderate to unhealthy levels for sensitive groups as of Tuesday (07 October).

Over the past 24 hours, the average AQI was 102, also in the orange range, signifying persistent air pollution conditions across the capital. Authorities are expected to continue monitoring pollutant levels, and further deterioration in air quality cannot be ruled out depending on weather patterns and vehicular emissions.
