As per reports, the Campaign for Free and Fair Elections (CaFFE) has stated that there has been a marked increase in incidents of election-related violence observed in the first two weeks of September, till Sunday (15 September).

The Executive Director of CaFFE has highlighted that the majority of the incidents reported were of intimidation, assault of political party supporters, and damages to party offices. Furthermore, it has been observed that there is an increase in posts allegedly ‘insulting’ presidential candidates being shared on social media.
