El Al extends Tel Aviv–Moscow flight suspension until 01 September

As per reports, Israeli airline El Al has extended the suspension of flights between Tel Aviv and Moscow until 01 September.

• Reports indicate the airline attributed the decision to the unstable situation in Russian airspace.
• Reports suggest El Al has not specified the risks that prompted the extension or announced a date for the resumption of regular services after 01 September.
• Reports indicate Russian carrier Red Wings has announced the launch of flights between Sochi and Tel Aviv from 27 October, while services between Moscow and Tel Aviv continue to operate.
