As per reports, a water main break on Logan Avenue in Winnipeg’s Weston neighborhood has caused significant disruptions on Friday (29 November).
• The break occurred between McPhillips and Yeomans streets, flooding Logan Avenue and affecting traffic flow during the morning commute on Friday (29 November).
• City crews are working to isolate the leak and repair the damage. One eastbound lane of Logan Avenue, between McPhillips and Weston streets, remains closed and is expected to reopen by the end of the weekend from Saturday (30 November) and Sunday (01 December).
• The incident has also led to water flowing onto nearby Alexander Avenue, with city officials checking for additional leaks in the area.
