As per the Delhi Traffic Police (DTP) update on Friday (15 May), a traffic advisory was issued regarding expected traffic disruptions on Delhi-Loni Road between Shiv Vihar Metro Station and Loni Gol Chakkar.

The disruptions are linked to ongoing road construction and repair works being undertaken in the Uttar Pradesh section of the corridor.

• Traffic movement in both directions is likely to remain affected round the clock for approximately 15 days, with lane restrictions, diversions, and intermittent congestion anticipated along the affected stretch.
• Commuters travelling towards Loni have been advised to use the alternate route via Bhopura Border where feasible, keep additional travel time, and follow traffic police instructions and on-ground signage near construction zones.
