As per reports, Nueva Atacama has announced a planned suspension of drinking water service in Copiapó for Wednesday (15 October), from 1600 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) to 2200 hours local time (0100 hours UTC).

The outage will affect the area from El Chañar sector to Manganita Street, and from Corcovado to Eleuterio Ramírez. To mitigate the impact, Nueva Atacama will deploy mobile drinking water distribution points across the affected neighborhoods.
