As per reports, in the Hanover region, maintenance work will be carried out on the sections between Wennigsen and Haste, as well as between Hanover Central Station and Hildesheim. This will result in restrictions on lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, and S7 between 2100 hours on Saturday (10 May) and 0600 hours (local time) on Sunday (11 May).

• A replacement timetable for the S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, and S7 lines will be in effect.
• A rail replacement bus service (SEV) will be operated between Seelze and Hanover Central Station. In Leinhausen, Nordstadt, and Letter, some stops will be cancelled. Between the main station and Linden/Fischerhof, there will be partial cancellations.
• Partial service disruptions will also occur on the section between Wennigsen and Haste; a special service will be set up – this also applies to the S1. An additional special service will be set up between Neustadt am Rübenberge and Wunstorf.
• Partial disruptions between Hauptbahnhof and Lehrte, buses will be operating.
• There are some disruptions between Hildesheim and Bennemühlen via Hanover Central Station. In addition, stops in Vinnhorst, Ledeburg, and Nordstadt will be temporarily canceled. Rail replacement services will be offered.
• The Vinnhorst, Ledeburg, Nordstadt, and Langenhagen-Mitte stops are also partially canceled. There are disruptions on the route between the main station and Weetzen; the S5 is also waiting in Weetzen for the arrival of the S1 from Hanover.
