As per reports, on Tuesday (07 October) dense fog and reduced visibility have been reported across multiple regions of Abu Dhabi, including Arjan, Al Hamra (Al Dhafrah region), Habshan, Liwa, and Asab.

• The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather advisory warning motorists to exercise caution while driving, as horizontal visibility may decrease further until 0900 hours local time (0500 hours UTC).
• The Abu Dhabi Police have reportedly reinforced this advisory, highlighting the risk of road accidents under foggy conditions and urging adherence to traffic regulations.
• To enhance road safety, the authorities have activated speed reduction measures on key highways, limiting speeds to 80 kilometer per hour.
• Specific roads with speed restrictions include Ahmed Khamis Al Hamli Road, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Road (Al Hamraa Bridge to Mahmiat Al Soquor Bridge), and Sheikha Salama Bint Butti Road (Zayed City to Tarif).
