Dense fog advisory issued in Michigan for Tuesday (17 February)

As per reports, the US National Weather Service (NWS) Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for parts of Michigan, scheduled to remain in effect until 1000 hours local time (1500 hours UTC).

• Affected locations include Genesee, Huron, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair, Tuscola counties; including Flint, Owosso, Sandusky, Caro, Pontiac, Bad Axe, Lapeer, Port Huron, Howell and Warren.
• The advisory cites visibility of one quarter mile or less in dense fog, with temperatures near freezing, whereby pockets of slick road conditions are possible, including on untreated surfaces.
