As per reports, a road traffic collision involving three vehicles caused significant delays on the M58 westbound at Junction J4 on Friday (17 May). The incident occurred between Junctions 03 and 04 near Skelmersdale at 1257 hours (local time) on Friday (17 May). Normal traffic conditions are expected between 0115 hours (local time) and 0130 hours (local time) on Saturday (18 May).

Closures have been observed westbound, between the M6 Orrell interchange near Wigan at Junction 26 and Junction 03 of the M58 for St Helens.
