As per reports, several roads and a public right of way in York are scheduled to be closed through Tuesday (25 August) for maintenance and utility works.

• Reports indicate that A19 between its roundabout-controlled junction with St Nicholas Avenue and the south-western boundary of Church Cottage, York Road, Deighton, is scheduled to be closed from 2000 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) to 0600 hours local time (0500 hours UTC), from Monday (10 August) to Tuesday (25 August) for highway maintenance works. A diversion is signposted via A19, A63, A162 and A64. Access for employees, residents and emergency vehicles is maintained.
• Additional temporary closures are scheduled at Moor Lane and Harcourt Close in Bishopthorpe, Wilstrop Farm Road in Copmanthorpe, and public right of way 14/12/10 and Kerver Lane in Dunnington for water mains, highway maintenance, telecommunications and drainage works. The closures are scheduled at varying times between Saturday (01 August) and Friday (14 August), with alternative routes or access arrangements provided where applicable.
