As per reports, a high-intensity extratropical cyclone is scheduled to form between Uruguay and Rio Grande do Sul, bringing severe weather conditions across the southern region of the country throughout this week from Monday (06 July).

• The meteorological system is expected to intensify from Monday (06 July), generating high volumes of rainfall, heavy thunderstorms, potential hail, and intense wind gusts across the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and Paraná.
• The system will advance throughout the week, causing storms, heavy rainfall, strong wind gusts, and hail.
• Its broader impact will also reach São Paulo by Friday (10 July)
