As per reports, the City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) has issued a traffic advisory announcing the temporary closure of the southbound lane of Bunawan Bridge 02 along Daang Maharlika Highway until 16 August, affecting the Davao City–Panabo City corridor due to rehabilitation and repair works.

During the closure period, Bunawan Bridge 01 is expected to be utilized for two-way traffic movement to maintain connectivity between Davao City and Panabo City.
