As per reports, the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) has called for a bandh (strike) in five states including Bihar, Jharkhand, Northern Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Assam on Sunday (03 August) to protest the deaths of its members under Operation Kagar.
From Sunday (20 July) to Sunday (03 August), the Maoists will observe ‘samriti Samarohs’ in memory of central committee member, Vivek alias Karam Kranti, who was killed in a police counter on 21 April.
