As per reports, the Mumbai Divisional Junior College Teachers’ Association will hold a Jail Bharo (court arrest) protest in Mumbai on Wednesday (13 August) at 1230 hours, demanding strict action against the then Deputy Director of Education of Mumbai, and immediate resolution of long-standing teacher-related grievances.

• Several hundred teachers from Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Palghar, and Raigad districts are expected to participate and voluntarily court arrest.
• As of now, the exact protest site in Mumbai has not been officially confirmed; however, based on previous Jail Bharo agitations, such events are often staged near key administrative or law enforcement premises such as Azad Maidan, Mumbai Central Jail vicinity, or district collectorate areas.
