As per reports, a bridge is being constructed near Pong Dam in Fatehpur assembly constituency of Kangra. The bridge is extpected to be 800 meter long at a cost of INR 105 crore under the Setu Bandhan Yojana under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) of the Central Government. The bridge is expected to reduce travel time between Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Further details on the construction schedule are awaited.
