As per reports, Mexico’s National Meteorological Service reported that Cold Front number 32 may continue to affect large parts of Mexico, generating rainfall, strong winds, and lower temperatures on Sunday (01 February).
• Veracruz, Oaxaca, and Guerrero are among the states experiencing the most significant impacts from the cold front.
• Heavy rainfall ranging between 25 and 50 mm is expected in parts of Veracruz, including Papaloapan, Los Tuxtlas, and Olmeca regions, as well as in Oaxaca and Guerrero.
• Intermittent rainfall are forecast in Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, State of Mexico, Hidalgo, and Puebla, while isolated rainfall is expected in Mexico City.
• A “Norte” wind event continues in southern and southeastern regions, with wind gusts reaching between 80 and 100 km per hour in the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec areas of Oaxaca and Chiapas.
• Elevated wave activity is forecast along coastal areas of the Gulf of Mexico and southeastern Mexico, potentially affecting maritime activities.
