As per reports, the cold anticyclone will persist in northern Kazakhstan till Thursday (17 October). Southern parts of the country are forecast to witness a cold snap. The anticyclone will bring the temperature down at night and during the day while moving to the east. Rainfall and snow are forecast for the mountainous area, as well as the southeastern regions of Kazakhstan.
