Coastal flood warning issued in parts of Virginia on Monday (23 September)

As per reports, the National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood warning for parts of Virginia on Monday (23 September) due to continuous heavy rainfall.

• A tidal flood is expected to result in one to two feet of flooding above ground level in low-lying areas along the shoreline in the District of Columbia, Arlington County, and the City of Alexandria.
• The warning remains in effect until 0400 hours local time on Wednesday (25 September).
