CMA issues weather warnings across multiple regions of China on Monday (10 November)

The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has issued weather warnings across several regions of China on Monday (10 November), forecasting a combination of snow, rainfall, and fog affecting both northern and southern parts of the country.

• Light snow or sleet is expected in northern Xinjiang, northeastern Inner Mongolia, eastern Northeast China, northeastern Tibet, eastern and southern Qinghai, southern Gansu, northeastern Northwest China, and northern Sichuan Plateau. Moderate to heavy snow is forecast in eastern Qinghai.
• Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in western Hunan, northeastern Guizhou, southern Yunnan, and Taiwan, with torrential rain or heavy downpours (60–170 mm) likely in southern Yunnan and eastern Taiwan, potentially resulting in localised flooding or water accumulation.
• Fog conditions are forecast to affect southern Hebei, central and southern Henan, southern Anhui, western Zhejiang, western and southeastern Chongqing, southwestern and northeastern Guizhou, central and southern Yunnan, and central Hainan, where visibility may temporarily drop below 500 metres in some areas.
