As per the China Meteorological Administration advisory issued on Tuesday (12 May), dense fog is expected across multiple coastal and maritime areas of China, with visibility likely to fall below 1 kilometre.

Dense fog is expected across the coastal waters of the Shandong Peninsula, Liaodong Peninsula, eastern Jiangsu coast, northern Zhejiang coast, Yangtze River Estuary, waters near Hangzhou Bay, Bohai Strait, most parts of the Yellow Sea, and the northern East China Sea.
