According to the China Meteorological Administration (CMA), heavy to torrential rainfall will impact parts of China on Monday (07 July). A Blue warning is in effect from 0800 hours on Monday (07 July) to 0800 hours on Tuesday (08 July).

Warnings have been issued for parts of eastern Zhejiang, central Inner Mongolia, central and northern Shanxi, northwestern and southwestern Hebei, northern Shandong, northwestern Henan, southwestern Shaanxi, eastern Sichuan, and southwestern Yunnan. Among them, there will be heavy rainstorms (100-180 mm) in some parts of eastern Zhejiang and eastern Sichuan. Some of the above-mentioned areas will be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation (maximum hourly rainfall of 20-50 mm, exceeding 70 mm in some places), and strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and gales in some places.
