As per reports, Virginia Department of Transportation contractor crews scheduled overnight closures on Interstate 464 north in Chesapeake, Virginia from Wednesday (17 June), between the Interstate 64 east off ramp and on ramp, to install girders for a new flyover ramp and bridges over the Interstate 64 interchange.
• Full northbound closures are scheduled from 0100 hours local time (0500 hours UTC) to 0400 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) on the mornings of Wednesday (17 June), Thursday (18 June), Tuesday (23 June), Wednesday (24 June), Thursday (25 June) and Friday (26 June).
• Single lane closures on Interstate 464 north are scheduled to begin as early as 2000 hours local time (0000 hours UTC the following day) before each full closure.
• The ramp from Interstate 64 west to Interstate 464 north at Exit 291A is scheduled to close from as early as 2000 hours local time (0000 hours UTC the following day) to 0500 hours local time (0900 hours UTC) on each scheduled closure night.
• Motorists travelling north from Route 168, also known as the Chesapeake Expressway, are advised to use Interstate 64 west at Exit 15A, Battlefield Boulevard at Exit 290A, Interstate 64 east and Interstate 464 north at Exit 291A.
• All work is weather and schedule dependent.
