As per reports, multiple road and lane closures are scheduled across Ann Arbor, Michigan, from Monday (04 May), affecting University of Michigan campus routes, medical campus access and key city corridors.
• Works are scheduled from 0700 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (2300 hours UTC), Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work.
• Closures include Zina Pitcher and Ann Street intersection, Zina Pitcher from Huron to Catherine, and Catherine Street between Glen Street and Zina Pitcher converted to two-way traffic during Phase 01 until Memorial Day on 25 May, with updates through mid-to-late October.
• North University Avenue from State Street to Fletcher Street and Thayer Street from North University Avenue to East Washington Street are closed to through traffic through late November.
• South State Street between Arch Street and Packard Street is scheduled to close from 0700 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) on Monday (11 May) to 1700 hours local time (2100 hours UTC) on Wednesday (24 June).
• West Liberty Road eastbound lane between South Wagner Road and South Maple Road is scheduled to close from 0900 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) on Monday (11 May) to 1500 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) on Friday (15 May).
• Newport Road between Lowell Road and the M-14 Bridge Deck is scheduled for intermittent lane closures from Monday (11 May) to Friday (22 May).
• Liberty Road between Scio Ridge Road and Crest Avenue is scheduled for intermittent lane closures from Wednesday (13 May) to Friday (22 May). Bus routes through medical and central campus areas are scheduled for detours.
• The closures are linked to road improvement, paving, traffic signal, utility and restoration works across Ann Arbor.
