As per reports, the Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) has announced multiple temporary closure of the Financial District Metromover Station in Brickell, Florida from Saturday (07 February).
The Financial District station is scheduled to remain closed through Saturday (07 February) and Sunday (08 February) and on the following weekend on 14 February and 15 February.
• According to authorities, the closure is scheduled to begin in the early hours of Saturday (07 February), and services are expected to resume on Monday (09 February).
• The Brickell Loop will remain operational, and trains will turn around at Brickell Station.
• Passengers are advised to use Brickell Station, located at 1001 SW 1st Avenue, as the primary alternative Metromover stop, from which the Financial District can be reached on foot in approximately five to seven minutes.
• Metrobus routes operating along Brickell Avenue and South Miami Avenue will continue to run normally and can be used to connect with Metrorail services and other parts of the transit network.
• In addition, the City of Miami Trolley’s Brickell Route will operate as usual and can be used for completing short trips within the Brickell and Financial District area.
