As per reports, Slovakia’s sixteen border crossings with Hungary and one with Austria have been temporarily closed, as of Monday (07 April).
The closures are a preventive measure against foot-and-mouth disease.
• The affected crossings include Čunovo – Rajka, Radvaň nad Dunajom – Neszmély, and others.
• The measure is in effect until midnight on 07 May.
• Enhanced controls have led to significant traffic delays at the Czech border.
