As per reports, face-to-face classes in all levels, in both public and private schools in Valencia City, were suspended on Monday (24 November) due to Tropical Depression Verbena. This was done as a precautionary measure against threats of landslides and flash floods in the area.
Traffic slowed past 0700 hours (local time) near the gates of the densely populated Valencia City Central School and Valencia City National High School, where students from motorized tricycles and other vehicles got caught in the morning rush.
