As per reports, clashes broke out between demonstrators and the police during a banned demonstration in Saix, in Tarn on Sunday (18 February), as activists protested the Toulouse-Castres motorway project.

• According to reports, about 150 people violently attacked the police with Molotov cocktail jets after protesters cited use of tear gas by the police.
• Two construction machines from a cement factory several hundred meters was also set on fire by the protesters.
• Three police officers were injured and six demonstrators were arrested.
