As per reports, the train drivers’ union- Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) will be carrying out industrial action on Monday (05 February) disrupting Chiltern Railways services from Sunday (04 February) to Tuesday (06 February).
• On Sunday (04 February), there are expected to be some trains (CrossCountry / Great Western Railway) operating at Leamington Spa / Banbury & Oxford. These trains are however expected to be exceptionally busy.
• On Monday (05 February), CrossCountry and Great Western Railway services will also be affected by strike action. West Midlands Railway is expected to operate a limited train service north of Leamington Spa.
• A limited service will be in operation on Tuesday (06 February). One train per hour to Marylebone – stations to Birmingham Moor Street (and vice-versa), two trains per hour to Marylebone – stations to Oxford (and vice-versa), one train per hour Princes Risborough – stations to Aylesbury (and vice-versa), shuttle service Leamington Spa – stations to Stratford Upon Avon (and vice-versa) for most of the day, one train per hour Marylebone – stations to Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham; and vice-versa), and some additional services will operate during the morning and evening peak periods.
• On Tuesday (06 February), the last trains from London will depart at 2202 hours Marylebone – Birmingham Moor Street, 2257 Marylebone – Aylesbury (via Amersham), 2311 Marylebone – Oxford – Banbury, 2326 Marylebone – Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).
• No service will opearte from Stourbridge Junction – stations to Birmingham Moor Street, and Sudbury and Harrow Road, Sudbury Hill Harrow, Northolt Park or South Ruislip on Tuesday. A severely reduced Chiltern Railways service will operate at Denham Golf Club and at Kings Sutton.
