As per reports, a delegation led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar will visit Uttar Pradesh for a two-day programme on Monday and Tuesday (24-25 August).
The delegation will include Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Manish Garg, Director General (Media) Ashish Goyal, Director General (IT) Dr Seema Khanna, and other senior officials of the Election Commission.
• On Monday (24 August), the Chief Election Commissioner will participate in an interactive session with students at Awadh Auditorium, Colvin Taluqdars’ College, Lucknow. Later in the afternoon, he will attend a regional conference on Electoral Literacy Club 2.0 and ECINET, the Electoral Service Platform, as the chief guest at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow.
• On Tuesday (25 August), the Chief Election Commissioner will directly interact with approximately 500 Booth Level Officers from Lucknow and neighbouring districts at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.
• The programme will also include three information stalls featuring live demonstrations on voter registration, the voting process, and the vote-counting process.
