As per reports, a bushfire has been recorded near the intersection of Djerrkura Street and Roy Marika Street in Bonner on Saturday (28 December). The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire is currently set at ADVICE.

Firefighting crews from the ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) and ACT Fire & Rescue are working to bring the blaze, which spans an area of approximately 500m by 500m, under control. A helicopter is also being deployed by the ACTRFS to assist with firefighting efforts.
