As per reports, VIC Emergency issued a Watch and Act message at 0700 hours (local time) on Wednesday (18 February) for areas north of Strath Creek, south of Trawool, and west of King Parrot Creek Road, Kerrisdale, due to an ongoing bushfire south of the Goulburn Valley Highway in Trawool.

Authorities have advised that it is not safe to return to the affected areas. The bushfire remains not yet under control, though fire behaviour is currently slow-moving following a change in weather conditions.
