According to the Emergency Services Agency (ESA), emergency advice warnings for a bushfire have been issued for Mount Disappointment State Forest, Kerrisdale, Tallarook, Trawool, Lake Mundi and Warrock, on Tuesday (10 February).
• An advisory was issued for Lake Mundi, Warrock at around 1232 hours (local time) for an out-of-control bushfire near Sandy Gate Track in Roseneath State Forest, approximately 9.7 kilometres south of Dergholm.
• An advisory was issued for Mount Disappointment State Forest at around 1218 hours (local time) for an out-of-control bushfire near Poison Link Road, approximately 6.2 kilometres east of Clonbinane.
• An advisory was issued for Kerrisdale, Tallarook and Trawool at around 1209 hours (local time) for an out-of-control bushfire at East Falls Road, Trawool, which is currently burning within the Tallarook State Forest.
• Authorities advise residents in the affected areas to monitor weather conditions and official warnings and to review their fire survival plans.
• Smoke may be visible from surrounding communities and roads, with firefighters and aircraft actively operating in the area.
