Bus collision reported at New York City’s Port Authority terminal on Wednesday (02 July)

As per reports, multiple buses crashed at the Port Authority Bus Terminal on Wednesday (02 July) morning, causing buses to be rerouted and leading to a traffic backup.

• The crash occurred at around 0615 hours local time and was blocking an inbound bus lane from the Lincoln Tunnel.
• Fourteen people suffered non-life-threatening injuries on the buses. The driver of one of the buses apparently had to be extricated.
• New Jersey Transit (NJT) bus service traveling to and from the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal is being diverted to Secaucus Junction, Newark Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal.
