As per reports, a three-storey residential building collapsed in the Abdeen area of downtown Cairo on Wednesday (19 June), resulting in hospitalization of five people. The collapse also caused the roof of an oil store on the ground floor to cave in.

• Police forces and ambulance services are present at the scene as of 1930 hours local time.
• Search and rescue operations are underway to locate any other victims trapped under the rubble.
