BRTS employees go on strike in Surat on Thursday (02 May)

As per reports, Surat Bus Rapid Transport System (BRTS) employees have gone on strike against the municipal administration over their demand for salary hike on Thursday (02 May).

• Around 75 bus drivers of Palanpur depot have gone on strike, affecting almost 25 thousand passengers.
• The drivers have stated that the strike will be extended further, unless their salary is revised from the current INR 15,600 to INR 22,500.
