As per reports, at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is set to visit China between Wednesday to Saturday (28-31 January).

• During the visit, President Xi Jinping is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Starmer, while Premier Li Qiang and Chairman of the National People’s Congress Zhao Leji will hold talks and meetings with him in Beijing to exchange views on bilateral relations and issues of common concern.
• In addition to Beijing, Prime Minister Starmer is scheduled to visit Shanghai.
