As per reports, the Pattullo Bridge connecting Surrey and New Westminster will be closed to motorists in both directions from Friday (16 May) at 2100 hours until Tuesday (20 May) at 0500 hours (local time).

Crews will be installing drainage systems and completing foundation work for new bridge approaches. Excavations and equipment on the bridge will block vehicle access and lanes throughout this time.

• Pedestrians and cyclists will still have access during this period.
