Bomb threat reported on IndiGo flight at Kannur airport on Wednesday (10 June)

According to reports, a bomb threat was reported on IndiGo flight 6E 2011 after it arrived at Kannur International Airport from Mumbai at 1520 hours (local time) on Wednesday (10 June).

• The threat message was reportedly found in a trash can inside the aircraft toilet. The cabin crew informed Air Traffic Control and the relevant airport authorities following the discovery.
• The aircraft was moved to an isolation bay, and bomb squad and dog squad teams conducted an inspection. No suspicious object was found during the search. An emergency alert was also issued at the airport during the response.
