As per reports, a suspicious bomb-like object fitted with a seven-hour timer was recovered near Kamdhenu Estate in the Hadapsar area of Pune on Wednesday (13 May).
• The suspicious object was reportedly found near a prominent hospital in the Kamdhenu Estate area of Hadapsar.
• Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), fire brigade personnel, and local police teams were immediately deployed to the location following the alert.
• Authorities safely removed the suspicious object from the hospital vicinity and transported it to an open and secure location, where it was subsequently defused.
• The surrounding area was sealed as a precautionary measure, and movement of people was temporarily restricted during the operation.
• Police and other security agencies have launched an investigation into the source of the device, the individuals responsible for placing it, and the motive behind the incident.
