As per reports, a bomb exploded on Friday (11 April) evening at the offices of Hellenic Train in central Athens.
• The explosion was caused by an improvised device placed inside a backpack on a motorcycle without license plates.
• An anonymous caller warned of the bomb, leading to a temporary suspension of traffic on Syngrou Avenue.
• No injuries have been reported, and the extent of the damage is currently unknown.
• The area has been sealed off for investigation by the bomb disposal unit and forensic department.
• Six firefighters with two vehicles were deployed to the scene.
