As per reports, between Wednesday (26 November) to Saturday (06 December), the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will organise a 10-day march to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The march will commence from Karamsad, Gujarat, and culminate at Kevadia, Gujarat, where the Statue of Unity stands. Two youths from each district across India will participate.
• On Wednesday (26 November): Participants from Mumbai and Nagpur, Maharashtra, will assemble and depart towards Gujarat.
• Between Thursday (27 November ) to Friday (05 December): The march will proceed through designated districts en route to Kevadia, Gujarat, with participants engaging in local awareness and community activities.
• On Saturday (06 December): The march will culminate at Kevadia, Gujarat, at the Statue of Unity, followed by concluding activities highlighting Sardar Patel’s legacy.
• The march will be led by Tejasvi Surya, the National President of the BJYM, who will oversee the overall organisation and execution of the event.
