As per reports, an independent MP from Purnea, Rajesh Ranjan, has called for a Bihar bandh (shutdown) on Wednesday (01 January) if the Combined Competetive Preliminary Examination (CCE Prelims) conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is not cancelled. He has appealed to the protest participants to stage demonstrations outside the residences of state government MPs and MLAs.
