The Bengaluru Traffic Police issued an advisory for vehicular movement on the occasion of the Krishna Janmashtami ( Krishna Janmashtami ) festival celebrated at the Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple on Devasandra Main Road. Vehicular traffic on this road is restricted from Monday (26 August) 0800 hours to Tuesday (27 August) 0600 hours.

Alternative routes are as follows:

• Motorists traveling towards Devasandra and KR Pura Market from Kodigehalli and Hoodi Main Road should take a right turn near Lulu’s Bakery at Jai Bhubaneswari Junction and proceed towards KR Pura Market via Bhattarahalli Junction of Basavanpura Main Road.
• Motorists traveling towards Kodigehalli and Hoodi Main Road from KR Pura Market side should take a right turn to GRT and take Basavanpura Main Road (Krishna Talkies Road) and pass Mande via Bhattarahalli Junction.
