As per reports, an avalanche blocked the Bhaderwah-Pathankot inter-state road in Doda district around 1700 hours (local time) on Sunday (15 February), leaving dozens of vehicles stranded.

• The avalanche supposedly struck between Thanthera and Guldandha, around 28 kilometres from Bhaderwah town.
• No casualties have been reported so far.
• As Guldanda is a famous winter destination in the Jammu region, the Bhaderwah Superintendent of Police Vinod Sharma, stated that over 250 vehicles had crossed the area when the avalanche occurred.
• The road is most likely to be open to traffic by 2100 hours (local time).
