According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia, the ASEAN Day Celebration will be hosted in conjunction with the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on Friday (08 August) in Selangor.

• The event will take place at the Cyber Event Hall, Cyberjaya and is expected to bring together over 700 guests from across the ASEAN community.
• Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim will officiate the celebration, which will also feature opening remarks by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan. Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz and Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Dato’ Sri Tiong King Sing are also expected to attend.
